Airport and Transport

Sydney Airport is the primary airport serving Sydney just 12 km away (20-30 minutes) from the city.

Melbourne to Sydney 1 hr 25 mins
Brisbane to Sydney 1 hrs 35 mins
Perth to Sydney 4 hrs 10 mins
Adelaide to Sydney 1 hr 55 mins

Opal is your reusable travel card for trains, buses, light rail and ferries in Sydney and surrounding areas. You’ll need to top up before your journey and then touch on and touch off at a Opal reader as you travel.

Taxi-cabs are available throughout the city and can be booked or hailed by the roadside.

Car Hire/Parking

All major car hire companies, including Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Thrifty, operate in Australia and vehicles may be hired at Sydney Airport. Public Parking is available within the close proximity of the venue:


Sydney is 10 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.


Sydney enjoys a temperate climate with warm to hot summers, mild and sometimes pleasant springs and autumns and cool winters. In August the average temperature ranges is 16 °C.


The city of Sydney has embraced cultures and flavors from around the world, created a varied, competitive and vibrant food and wine industry. An abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants and food halls can be found in almost every block of the city.

Banks and post offices generally open from 09:30 -16:00 hours Monday - Friday. General office hours are 09:00-17:00 Monday - Friday.


With fashion-forward boutiques, elegant arcades and buzzing shopping centres, Sydney is Australia's best shopping destination. Shopping hours in the CBD: Monday to Wednesday until 7pm, Thursday until 9pm and Friday to Sunday until 7pm.


Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the conference and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the Summit, or through cancellation of the meeting, loss of air fares through cancellation for any reason, loss of tour monies through cancellation for any reason including airline or related services strikes within Australia, failure to utilise tours or pre-booked arrangements due to airline delay, Force Majeure or any other reason, medical expenses (including sickness and accident cover), loss or damage to personal property, additional expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The Summit managers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance.
