Tim Symons, Interim Victorian Small Business Commissioner, is a seasoned public sector leader with expertise in small business resilience and vocational education reform. He has driven policy development and program delivery across government, TAFE, and the private sector. As a senior leader at Small Business Victoria, he led bushfire and COVID-19 recovery initiatives and supported economic inclusion for diverse entrepreneurs, including CALD and Aboriginal business operators.
Tim holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts and has worked extensively in Japan and Singapore in addition to Victoria.
