Senator the Hon. Bridget McKenzie is the Shadow Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development.

She is a former Cabinet Minister and was Australia’s first federal female Agriculture Minister.

Bridget was elected in 2010 to the Australian Federal Parliament as Senator for the state of Victoria.

She has been the Leader of the Nationals in the Senate since 2019 and was the party’s Deputy Leader from 2017 to 2020.

Bridget believes that strategic infrastructure investment and planning are key to a more prosperous, safer and stronger Australia.
