Gary is a successful businessman with over 30 years’ experience, including vast experience in financial management, business management, training, and assessment. Deadly Hair Dude is a not-for-profit Indigenous and special needs training program which was established to broaden regional employment prospects and provide opportunities for people who are incarcerated to reduce recidivism rates. The program works by training Indigenous people to gain employment and run hair salons across the Northern Territory. Deadly Hair Dude currently trains local Indigenous people in 40 communities with increasing interest for more participation on an almost daily basis.
